What advantages Vs manual shake can offer Agytax?

Agytax^® is an instrument designed for the extraction methods which requires the shake of samples. The use of this equip let shake simultaneously 12 test tubes (50 ml vials) or 24 (15 ml vials) test tubes, reducing the time of operation. Automated extraction guarantees reproducibility of this stage, instead in manual shake this is not possible. The results of several tests shows a reduction of variation coefficients in recovery percentages for each analytes (between 20% in some methods and 2%) and, in the other hand, a rise in recovery percentages. The use of this instrument reduce the specific costs per sample analysis.

How is analysis costs reduced?

Agytax^® can be used directly with the same solve volume of traditional extraction methods. In this case, analysis times and staff costs are reduced because 12/24 test tubes can be shook simultaneously (In standard version), although in most cases it is interesting to see the increase of recovery percentages reducing solve volume thanks to the automation of the movements which can’t be made equal by humans. Relating to costs comparison in this web, it’s shown how solve volume can be reduced around 88%, making unnecessary the rotavap and/or spinning steps.

Can do I use any test tubes?

The model of test tube used is very important for an adequate shaking process. Agytax^® is supplied with 12 standard 50ml plastic test tubes, and it can works with 24 standard 15ml plastic test tubes, although we can supply specific container to suit your needs.
